This season, we are witnessing several incredible performances, both at the team and individual levels. In particular, the two 70-point performances by Donovan Mitchell and Damian Lillard will forever remain in the record books as some of the best individual scoring performances.
Although for many, the 100-point mark, reached only by Wilt Chamberlain, is unattainable in modern basketball, Damian Lillard is confident otherwise and recently highlighted how he and Steph Curry are the only ones capable of aiming for this record.
I’m not sure if it will happen, but it’s definitely possible. I didn’t believe it until the 71-point game in regulation. I think Steph and I would be the only ones capable of scoring 100.
