In March, NCAA March Madness steals the spotlight from the NBA with great prestige. The league is full of talent and young players driven by the hope of one day making the definitive leap into a league dominated by the likes of LeBron, Giannis, Kevin Durant, and many others.
Last night, the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights (FDU) made history in the youth championship by defeating top-ranked Purdue, the 16th seed in the same league, in one of the most incredible upsets in March Madness history. The game ended 63-58 in favor of FDU, who has now written an indelible chapter in NCAA history.
After five years since the first and only 16th seed defeated the top-ranked team, when UMBC defeated Virginia in 2018, history seems to have repeated itself.
