Chet Holmgren is currently recovering from a foot injury and has yet to play in an NBA game, but he has no doubt about the potential of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In a recent interview with Complex, Holmgren was asked if he thinks these Thunder have the strength to reach the heights reached by Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook in OKC jerseys. His answer? An obvious yes.
I believe in the players we have on this team, I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in the organization as a whole, so the answer is an obvious yes. I think we can reach really high heights.”

It definitely won’t be an easy journey and it will take time, but after seeing what Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been able to do this season, it’s hard not to agree with Holmgren’s words:
It’s not going to happen overnight. We’re having success, but that’s not going to make things easier. We still have to work hard and face different challenges. It’s something we’re going to try to do
