LeBron James: “Surgery wasn’t necessary”

LeBron avoids surgery – which he said was unnecessary – and returns to the court exactly a month later

For the second time in his career, LeBron James saw a game start from the bench before entering the court. This happened after a foot injury from which he recovered, and that risked ending the regular season for number 6 due to a risky inflammation of the tendon.

He told me I didn’t need surgery

LeBron trusted the German specialist he turned to during his absence, and the foot therapy allowed him to be on the court against the Chicago Bulls, closing his game with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The rhythm is very important. I went to the basket a couple of times, and the ball slipped away. I didn’t feel as good as before shooting the ball, but I’ve been out for four weeks, so I’m still trying to fix something before the end.

The Lakers’ 108-118 loss to the Bulls drops them to ninth place in the Western Conference with a record of 37-38. There are five games left in the regular season: the Thunder are tenth with the same record, ahead of them are the Pelicans and Timberwolves no more than one game away.

Even the play-in could be at risk: will a LeBron James who is still not 100% be enough to secure qualification?
