In the past two months, Ja Morant has faced some personal and professional obstacles that led to his suspension from the NBA. Morant has returned and apologized for his actions, but it seems that the remorse was short-lived. The 23-year-old found himself in the middle of new accusations, as the Grizzlies player appeared on another Instagram Live with a gun in hand.
Instead of preparing for the next season, Morant has returned to what got him suspended just two months ago, and the repetition of these actions will likely cause a stir in the league.
At the 13-second mark of the video, the young Grizzlies star is seen dancing to the music with a gun in hand. Although not immediately clear, it becomes apparent upon closer inspection that Ja Morant is indeed holding a gun.
For a player who has just lost a significant portion of his salary ($39 million for not being selected for the All-NBA), this new scandal is not good news at all. He has already suffered the consequences of his actions once and has publicly apologized… but perhaps it wasn’t enough.
