What is the NBA season record wins?
The record for the most wins in an NBA season belongs to the Golden State Warriors, who had a 73-9 W-L record in the 2015-2016 season.
The year before Kevin Durant arrival in Oakland, Warriors roaster included Curry, Thompson, Green, Bogut and Barnes. They proved being one of the best NBA teams ever. Their motto was “Strenght in numbers” and they managed to create something unique: they broke the 1996 Bulls’ victories record, seemingly unbreakable until then.
If on the one hand they completed the best Regular Season ever, on the other we cannot say the same about the playoff. Warriors made it to the Finals, but the Cavs, leaded by Lebron James, took away the title from Steve Kerr’s team.
