The Best Dunkest NBA Fantasy Basketball Teams for 2024/25

In this article, we present 4 fantasy team ideas to help you build your team for the 2024/25 NBA Fantasy Basketball season

The most beloved NBA Fantasy Basketball in Italy is about to start again, and as every year, Dunkest fantasy coaches are filled with doubts and uncertainties about which players to sign for their teams.

We’ve therefore put together 4 Dunkest team ideas, both for the Rookie account and the Fantasy Pass, which you can use as inspiration to create your perfect roster.

The teams are not set up following the schedule and game rounds but are organized to highlight their strengths and the logic behind their construction. We’ve made temporary choices for the Coach, to be reviewed based on the official schedule.

The 4 Best Dunkest Teams

1. Balanced Rookie Team

  • Dunkest Team: Rookie (free)
  • Budget: 95 credits

A balanced team in all departments, without stars but with several interesting players ready to bring in good Fantasy Basketball points.

The starting lineup is made up of great players for their quality/price ratio. Poeltl, with the Raptors, has already proven to be a decent PDK machine and represents an excellent choice for under 10 credits. The three forwards have high Dunkest potential: consistency might not be their strength, but having 10 players capable of bringing PDK makes them perfect for a balanced rookie team. Chris Paul alongside Wembanyama could deliver some tasty double-doubles right from the early games, and at 10.5 credits, he’s more than a solid choice. The bench focuses on players like Ben Simmons, who could see a lot of playing time and generate capital gains.

2. Star Rookie Team

  • Dunkest Team: Rookie (free)
  • Budget: 95 credits

A more unbalanced team with a star. Luka Doncic needs no introduction, and many consider him the favorite for the MVP award. The starting lineup includes Coby White, who will take on an increasingly central role with the Bulls, Ben Simmons (yes, we fell for him again, but at this price, he’s impossible to pass up), OG Anunoby, who consistently contributes to Fantasy NBA, and Yves Missi, who might start for the Pelicans.

Having Luka Doncic means making some risky but sensible choices for the other positions: Drummond, Pritchard, and Crowder for the bench are among the most interesting players in the mid/low range.

3. Balanced Fantasy Pass Team

  • Dunkest Team: Fantasy Pass
  • Budget: 105 credits

Here’s one of the most successful strategies in Dunkest Fantasy Basketball: a balanced and strong roster without 20-credit stars but with players ready to shine, like Duren and Kuminga. The lineup is completed by Johnson and Giddey (among the best in the game for their quality/price ratio) and Herro, who is expected to have an All-Star season.

The rest of the team consists of players we know well in fantasy basketball, like Simmons, White, and Poeltl, as well as Reed and Achiuwa, two players ready to score some points coming off the bench.

4. Jokic Fantasy Pass Team

  • Dunkest Team: Fantasy Pass
  • Budget: 105 credits

The focal point of this Dunkest team is, of course, Nikola Jokic. To make room for the Fantasy Basketball GOAT, we had to cut some mid-level players from the previous teams, opting for a few gambles and a very risky bench.
