Dunkest NBA Fantasy Tips: The 5 Must-Have Players for Round 16 and Key Insights

Dunkest NBA Fantasy Tips

Everything you need for Round 16 of Dunkest NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position:

Guards

Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers, 17.7 cr)

This year, one of the best “chocolate distributors” in the league has shown an inconsistent performance, with less stable and harder-to-predict games. We’re aware of that, but the matchup against the Detroit Pistons, most likely still without Cade Cunningham, presents the perfect opportunity to put up a big score.

VasiliJe Micic (Charlotte Hornets, 5.2 cr)

For the second pick, we’re going straight to the Dunkest Underbrush. LaMelo Ball’s injury opens the door for the former EuroLeague MVP, who already proved last season that he can make an impact in the NBA. In the 30 games without LaMelo, he averaged 16.3 PDK, with a couple of performances over 30 points and even a 40-point game.

Quentin Grimes (Dallas Mavericks, 6.2 crediti)

The former New York Knicks point guard may have finally found the right environment to thrive at 100%. Doncic’s absence has allowed the young Grimes to take (and capitalize on) the reins of Dallas’ offense in recent games. In the matchup against Utah, it’s time for the ultimate value boost.

Forwards

Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic, 14.4 cr)

Paolo Banchero’s injury has allowed Franz to step up and become the team’s leader. The matchup against the injury-plagued Nets could be the perfect opportunity for him to deliver a standout performance. The fact that the Nets are ranked 20th in defense makes the situation even more promising.

PJ Washington (Dallas Mavericks, 10.9 cr)

Since Doncic’s injury, the Kentucky guy has taken his game to the next level in points and rebounds, frequently recording double-doubles. The matchup against the Utah Jazz, ranked 29th in defensive efficiency and having the second-worst defense against forwards, is definitely the perfect opportunity to maximize his value.

Tim Hardaway Jr (Detroit Pistons, 6.7 crediti)

The experienced forward, formerly with Dallas, is one of the emotional pillars of the Michigan franchise. Alongside Cunningham and Duren, Hardaway Jr. serves as a safe haven for the team’s younger players. His ability to knock down shots from distance and Indiana’s struggles in guarding certain types of players make him an intriguing asset for this matchup.

Center

Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat, 15.8 cr)

The Heat’s center, aside from a couple of standout performances, has been struggling in fantasy basketball, with an average of under 30 PDK to back it up. That said, against the Raptors – the sixth-worst defense against centers – we’re confident he can deliver a performance with significant upside. Keep an eye out for the possibility of a triple-double as well!

Isaiah Hartenstein (Oklahoma City Thunder, 10.7 cr)

Here’s the good old Isaiah back in our tips column — we missed you! The former Knick is an extremely efficient player, capable of adding valuable stats to his double-doubles. The matchup against the Lakers might be tough, but recent performances, increased involvement on offense, and most importantly, the price, make the Thunder’s center the best value-for-money pick. You won’t regret it!

Jay Huff (Memphis Grizzlies, 5.7 crediti)

The Memphis Grizzlies scouting team’s ability to find unlikely players who perform at a high level would definitely be worth studying. Among this season’s new faces, the not-so-young Huff is showing he can be a solid backup for the young Edey. He could log some quality minutes in the matchup against the Pelicans.

Coach

Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat, 7.4 cr)

After the recent loss to the Bucks, led by a red-hot Lillard, we’re confident that Erik’s team will be eager to bounce back right away. The upcoming matchup against the struggling Toronto Raptors looks like the perfect opportunity to do so.

Rick Carlisle (Indiana Pacers, 7.4 cr)

Indiana is in good form right now and can’t afford any more missteps that could send them slipping down the standings in the Eastern Conference. They’ll face the Detroit Pistons, who are almost certainly without their star Cade Cunningham and are now focused on improving their chances in the end-of-season lottery.
