NBA Fantasy Captain Picks

Are you unsure who to make captain for the Dunkest round? Here are our tips, one for each turn.

Centers

Ivica Zubac (Los Angeles Clippers, 17.6 cr)

Our dear Ivica has become a regular in our column, and the reason is clear: over 34 PDK on average since the start of the season and more than 7 credits in capital gains! The challenge against the Mavs and the Clippers’ playoff ambitions make him a fairly safe choice for these final, unpredictable days.

Mitchell Robinson (New York Knicks, 5.9 cr)

Despite being somewhat ignored by many industry insiders, the Knicks may have regained a very interesting piece for the final stretch of the season. Robinson’s return brings defense and depth to the New York franchise and, most importantly, allows them to give Karl Anthony Towns some rest. He could become a great choice in the T3 against Atlanta.

Forwards

Deni Avdija (Portland Trail Blazers, 14.5 cr)

Simply a Dunkest dream player, who has evolved to become capable of delivering triple-doubles. For his cost, the potential is immense, and the challenge against the Toronto Raptors is truly intriguing. Keep an eye on the absence of Jeremy Grant, his real kryptonite (if he’s on the court, a whopping 12 fewer PDK on average!). If Grant is confirmed out, the good Deni becomes the absolute must of the day.

Brice Sensabaugh (Utah Jazz, 6.1 cr)

Despite the results suggesting otherwise, Utah is doing a great job developing the talents within their roster. Among them, the good Sensabaugh is coming off a season (occasionally interesting) that could firmly place him within the team’s rotations. An intriguing bet in the high-scoring potential match against Indiana.

Guards

Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks, 17.5 cr)

An enigmatic player, but with one clear aspect: his amazing ability to dish out perfect assists for his teammates. He leads the assist standings by a wide margin and has never missed a double-double in the last seven games. The home game against the New York Knicks is the ideal stage for Ice Trae. We believe in him.

Terry Rozier (Miami Heat, 5.5 cr)

Speaking of the Boston area, one of its finest products has ended up playing on the shores of Florida with fluctuating results. The good Rozier has yet to showcase the qualities that made him important in Boston and Charlotte. However, the season’s finale could bring him some interesting rewards, starting with the match against Memphis.

Coach

Doc Rivers (Milwaukee Bucks, 7.4 cr)

With the fourth and fifth spots just a few wins apart and the chance to extend the lead over the chasing teams, these factors make the game against the shadow of what remains of the 76ers absolutely within reach for Giannis & Co.

Jamahl Mosley (Orlando Magic, 5.4 cr)

The Magic are fighting for the seventh spot in the East, with the Hawks, Heat, and Bulls close behind, so no mistakes are allowed. The game against the Washington Wizards might bring back bad memories, but this time it will be different, as the team is practically at full strength. Trust in Mosley.
