Dunkest NBA Fantasy Tips

Everything you need for Round 28 of Dunkest NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position:

Centers

Ivica Zubac (Los Angeles Clippers, 14.7 cr)

The center for the Los Angeles Clippers is one of the few bright spots for the Californians. The results aren’t bad, but consistency remains the Achilles’ heel for Coach Lue’s team. Right now, they’re in Play-in territory, but Zubac has the potential to pull them out of that situation, returning to the dominant performances he had shown earlier this season, after the disappointing (and loss-making) performance against the San Antonio Spurs.

Miles Plumlee (Phoenix Suns, 6.9 cr)

The experienced center of the Suns is one of the few bright spots in a franchise that, as usual, is plagued by injuries. While not the flashiest player on earth, Plumlee consistently delivers solid numbers for our Fantasy coaches. He remains one of the most valuable names in the Underdog category on a day that will see him face off against the Pacers.

Forwards

Trey Murphy III (New Orleans Pelicans, 10.3 cr)

Once again this year, it seems that someone, probably not a fan of good music, has cast a curse on the birthplace of Jazz. No saxophones or double basses, but distortions and injuries have been the key words in New Orleans for a few years now. The second-string players are the ones taking center stage (so to speak…). Murphy III is one of them, carrying much of the weight of the Pelicans’ offense on his shoulders. After several performances over 30 fantasy points, he doesn’t seem ready to stop.

Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks, 9.3 cr)

Giannis’ return could certainly take away some of his space and responsibilities. However, Middleton remains a former NBA champion, still capable of offering a lot to overseas basketball. His value is still surprisingly low compared to his level of play, and against Portland, he has the opportunity to continue generating profits, which are always useful.

Guards

Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons, 16.8 cr)

Along with Bitadze, he’s definitely one of the most improved players of the past year. The Detroit Pistons are still far from becoming a competitive team, but for the first time, they are capable of challenging anyone. Strong defense and a fighting spirit are the foundation of their positive performances, but the undisputed leader of Coach Bickerstaff’s group is Cunningham. The 2021 No. 1 overall pick is proving his true worth to everyone, silencing those who too hastily labeled him as just another lottery bust.

Austin Reaves (Los Angeles Lakers, 13 cr)

Suddenly, John Stockton has descended upon LA. After dozens of performances where surpassing 5 assists was already considered a success, Reaves has, over the last 3 games, become one of the most prolific playmakers in the League. And that’s not all: he also adds plenty of points, thanks to his impressive shooting performances. The recent victories of the Lakers undeniably bear his signature, and at home against Atlanta, I see no reason why he should change course.

Coach

Doc Rivers (Milwaukee Bucks, 8.5 cr)

The Milwaukee Bucks, reigning champions of the new NBA Cup, still don’t seem to fully convince. Giannis is often questionable, and the results reflect this trend. With the Greek star on the court, the Bucks can challenge anyone, but without their leader, they crumble like snow in the sun. Against Portland, at home, a relatively easy win is expected.

Doc Rivers (Milwaukee Bucks, 8.5 cr)

For the first time in years, the Miami Heat are a powder keg. Jimmy Butler, after weeks of back-and-forth with the court, has officially requested a trade. This certainly disrupts the team’s path and plans, and it could have short-term repercussions on their results as they look to find a (dis)balance and a potential replacement via trade. Despite everything, I trust Spoelstra and the other great players in Miami: at home against Utah, losing further ground is not an option.
